I honestly wouldn't put it past the executives to have done this to increase attrition. I feel they know their workforce well, and know which employees would have reacted poorly to their social media blunder (older employees likely earning more).
I just feel like everything this company does with its employees is designed to increase attrition. Be it offensively bad rewards, removing the employees ability to choose where they work, extremely un-flexible protocols, creating a toxic workplace ect ect ect.
Need to get those operations cost metrics down!
