Depending on how the many lawsuits including the discrimination one pans out the board might clean house in the upper levels of the company. Don’t see them doing that for the lower already under staffed levels of the company.
Also, there have never been layoffs at State Farm, they just close your location and ask you to move to a hub, or they just allow an insanely high attrition rate take care of things.
They wont lay off but youll leave regardless.
This is just the websites bot that periodically posts this message on every board to spur discussion.
I figure we can lay-off half the analyst in this company, no real impact at all. You want to keep your pensions right ? Claims is hiring, time to do some work and answer the phone.

Claims is so understaffed that likely its not in that direction if it even happens.
have not heard anything but that doesn't mean anything, they tend to do what they want without really any warning.
Rumors are generally worthless. i.e. new agent contract in 2010, no, 2011, no, 2012, etc etc. Still not happening. Layoffs while severely understaffed and trying to hire 7,000 people seems like a stretch.
