Yesterday a series of layoffs were done.
With the numbers there is no doubt that they will continue. Package is no where near the 60 week cap so be prepared for 6-11 weeks based on years of service and level of position (of course the higher levels get more…imagine that).
The “call” lasted less then a minute and then handed over to HR to finish the ki-l.
All I can say is that I hope they get treated the same way when their number is called

Please specify the country/region. It helps everyone understand what to expect as each country/region has very different laws. EMEA has more protections for workers guaranteeing them notice period, severance, etc.
