As said in the Forbes interview, garbage disposals, thermostats, ac pumps and shop vacs etc don't fit within the framework. All good products, just not where new emerson wants to be.

That would make sense bc they put JF in charge and he is all about divesting and m&a. The 30% salaried cut is still not true.
I heard it's going to be announced in September the company is selling comres. The decision was made under DF.
