Wow a 4 day workweek and an additional 10% off on paper and cleaning products! What a F&%^ing joke. Is he actively trying to pi-s us off even more or is he just completely stupid? This does nothing for 99% of the employees in this company, the union is coming, may not be today, this week or this month but it is coming because we really have nothing to lose.

Lowes does not care about employees! I just got fired because of an Asm! He told me to do an override and I got fired! Do not trust your asms !!! Watch your backs supervisors because they will lie to keep their jobs!!

The provision of if your car is a gas guzzler you might get a 4 day week if management approves. Considering there is a scheduling matrix that has to be adhered to, this message should not have been sent out. It would create scheduling gaps that can't be avoided. You can't have sales if you are not in the departments. Nice of Melvin to tease us with this. Worst of all is he did this on purpose. He's an egotistical S.O.B.! Sc--w him and Lowe's Corporate.

You can't do it if you have a fuel efficient vehicle....as in gets less than 17 mpg. I knew there would be some b.s. provision to this policy.

Marvin Ellison is a POS. He sucked at Depot, Target, and Penneys. You can see just how egotistical he is by watching his podcasts. He needs to keep his a-s at the corporate office with his stooges Small Hands and Barney Rubble Boltz. This 4 day work week he proposed will come at a price. Make no mistake that Lowe's corporate may give but will always take. Watch your backs. With the employee survey this early, bend over here it comes again. They will definitely sc--w you. Two percent pay raises and 20% off cleaning supplies till the end of September? You can buy those same things at your local store or Big Lots for cheaper. I'm leaving Lowe's. I will never spend a dime there again. Two bad emails about bonuses we won't get! Lowes corporate can burn in he-l.

Most of not all 11 (10 ) or 12 hour schedules are a long week and then a short week. Long week is a very long week indeed.

Also ,its 11 hours ,(1 hour lunch ).Work 1 day ,then 1 day off .2 days ,then I day off .Then 1 week it will be ;
11 hours Saturday ,11 Hours Sunday ,11 hours Monday , 11 hours Tuesday . It's just to benefit corporate ,with less workers ,your the fool there 11 hours everyday .Working in 4 departments .

Sad to see what Lowe's has become. I left Home Depot back in 2007 to go work for Lowe's because they treated their employees so much better. Now it looks like things have come full circle.
