Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Sales losing their cars

Just heard all of Xerox sales (and Analysts?) lost their cars effective July 1, they have to now use an app on their phone to track mileage. If they forget to press the button when they leave the house they can only have up to 10% of their mileage not recorded. They lose their cars July 15th. They only have 2 weeks to get a car. They were told they would get a price to buy the car they have now but so far have not gotten that price yet.

The company car program isn't gone entirely. Service keeps it.

Not just sales. The whole company car program is gone.

If you were recently IRIF'd, you don't have to worry about driving toner from one customer to the other. Hence, no need for the app...so there.

Thank the lord they’re going back to a mileage app. That concur BS was so manual and tedious that nobody ever wanted to do it. Good decision overall.

Fake news. They're going back to GIS days of flat rate plus mileage. Everyone gets a base of couple hundred and then mileage on top of the flat base. It's less than IRS but not nearly half. Read your emails better cry baby.

They are only paying half the IRS mileage rate as well, and your company car, with 120,000 miles on it, will cost you $10,000.

Next up is taking away your 401k matching (again).
