Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Fraudulent patents

The company has been publishing fraudulent patents for years now. I felt the dishonesty amongst the company deserves to be out in the open, almost none of their parents had gone through any academic review some even asserting things that were completely and probably false.

This is the reason why there are so many lawsuits in court and none of them present the company in good light. Because there is no bright side to why they are doing in the first place.

There isn’t any fraudulent patent activity in the company. Earplugs was not an area with large r&d effort

@2via+1hFRzpKB Don't see any other company blowing 300000 eardrums through cutting edge research!

The patent filing standards have eroded in general, not just 3M.

They made easy patent filings a way to retain and acquire talent and ironically, the talent caused their demise with shoddy work and fake patents! This is what poetic justice looks like.

Heard they had a technical director who was a full time AWS salesman. He used to receive commissions for every AWS deployment.

Doesn’t US Patent Office as well as other countries review and grant patents. They aren’t simply “published”

How else do you get to 120000 patent spaces and have only a couple of revenue streams? How else do you get in legal troubles with more than 300000 plaintiffs suffering because of your accelerated research?

This company could literally be made into a case study for everything that should not be done. Anyone who has worked in this company would know how they cut corners in their work.
