The cuts this morning have started. Not a good way to start the week.

I'm curious what BT is going to do in Florida. She has 2 VP's and 2 OP's Directors.

Not all IRIF's were "useless slugs in ops or service,"; we lost a top notch Service Manager that was always doing additional support for the customers and their team and it's going to have an ugly impact.

We have folks on LinkedIn with Director titles that only be true in their inflated heads

At this point, why do we still have VP's or Director's? All you need is a strong manager that runs that team, regardless of the team. Numbers report themselves. Xerox needs to target them, higher salaries.

I even question why XBS has president's, they are glorified sales VP's.

Irif were low performers in sales, useless slugs in ops or service, and graphic color on direct side. It was just a reason to get rid of dead weight but we couldn't do it with saying job elimination. Try working for your paycheck folks.

And this is why on Friday I worked my last day at Xerox after many years. And started on Monday at a new company for more pay with better benefits. Xerox was a good place to work - but, the lower pay, poor benefits (health, 401K match % and policy that you don't get until end of year SUCKS) as well as lack of job security, the risk with future uncertainty make Xerox a poor career choice going forward.

If you are staying with Xerox, what do you think the future will be? I think most Xerox people are fooling themselves. Not to be doom and gloom - but, think about it, I did.

So, 50 RIFs or so? Won’t make a dent in terms of cost savings, but hit to morale.
