Yes XBS Florida was hit Monday. Multiple departments. And to think how we could survive on our already skeleton staff. This is such a joke, I mean Xerox is such a joke.

Xerox reports 2nd quarter earnings on July 26th. If History repeats itself expect more layoffs on Thursday the 28th.

It's July 11th. I've had coffee, read email & news. Seems like another day and another "the sky is falling" post. Layoffs almost always happen first thing in the morning.

Xerox will continue to ship old technology equipment, questionable quality and poor serviceability followed by billing and accounting errors. Customer satisfaction will remain at all time lows while Senior management’s answer will be to lay-off more workers and proclaim that all is good …. Been there too many times as a witness to this mess ..Not a prediction, just a fact ..

I predict it will be Monday, and that nobody on this site actually knows anything. Every single prediction here in the last few years has been wrong. Other than the CEO looking ill, but that was obvious.

It's unfortunate for all of us still employed by Xerox or XBS, we want to believe this company has come to and end with layoffs. I thought my location was paper thin and Xerox wouldn't target us, however I was wrong. I was notified Friday that Monday indeed will be another round of layoffs. Extremely sad of being the one that has to break the news to these co-workers, some are friends. What bothers me with the selection is they do not make that much, and I question why the high salary executives don't take a pay cut instead. Our employee morale continues to decline, some give minimum 8-5pm and are gone. Some of us are carrying more weight then we can handle. I do not see how this company can continue on this path.

The long response post here in the list is the one everyone should read.
Hope he/she posts more often for logical , non emotional takes on our company’s future.
They can be funny at times but the “Xerox sucks “ postings are getting old , don’t have to stop but…

My team only has big accounts; we don't go around chasing dentist offices. We treat our accounts well and they treat us well, business 101. Have a great weekend gang!

The interim CEO will float a nothing burger to keep things afloat until the new CEO takes over. I’m sure the board already had JV’s health on the radar prior to his passing. So the interim CEO will announce actions to be taken based on previous board discussion.

Technical services is already at minimum staff levels and consolidation of management also cannot be cut further. Sales drives new business so this is the most likely area to demand higher productivity. Technical services will have the screws turned to focus on improved productivity from the existing staff. IE more pain for the TSM’s and TSR’s. The recession and reduced employment opportunity resulting will help stem the bleeding from the great resignation.

If X intends to remain in the hardware production business I would expect new hardware to be announced in the fall. If none is announced it would be a big sign of a move to rebadged hardware partners and services.

If they release new hardware expect a lot of the same issues they have had for the past 10 years with beta quality products in customers hands. Plan on availability constraints due to the supply channel issues that remain and chip shortages.
