Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

I can't stay focused on work

Right now I'm doing the bare minimum. Is it even possible to give one's best while the cuts are always looming around the corner? How do you manage to stay focused on your job in such a tense atmosphere? My morale is zero.

Wait for T-Mobile Tuesday in Aug. Ask what some trainers went through last week :)

There haven’t been layoffs every Friday since February. That’s BS.

I completely agree with you. I think most of the employees in the CECs are just waiting for the OTHER shoes to drop, I just watched a wonderful group of people with exceptional knowledge , skill and experience get " restructured right out the door" then Nolan sends out an email at the "11th hour" expressing his appreciation of their services.

This is heartbreaking. So discouraging, T-Mobile employees are loyal , and bleed magenta, and now they have to "restructure" their lives !

Reality is if you feel the way you do, start looking for something else before it gets to that point. If you think somehow tomorrow morning Freire or Severt are going to wake up and feel bad or be worried about the tension their actions are causing, it ain’t gonna happen. Freire usually actions what’s become Layoff Friday (every Friday since February) with a twitter post about his garages, cars, antiques, etc so yeah no one out there is caring so why should you? Do the absolute minimum, spend more time on yourself and your family, start looking for something new, and just enjoy the pay while it’s coming in. That’s all you can do.
