Not sure what is going where but it’s not just India. There will be outsourcing to Mexico, South Africa, Philippines and India. In addition there will be onshore vendors that will take licensed work. All service functions are going.
Who cares- Allstate Benefits is nothing more than bogus products sold by snake oil salespeople. I honestly can’t believe Allstate didn’t dump this he---s sore when they sold the life company
Allstate Benefits is moving our jobs with Enrollment Technology Solutions to India. What makes this move even more ridiculous is we actually have a lot of contact with our tech companies; brokers, and clients. They told us our jobs are not client facing. They made this move and Senior Leadership has no idea what we do. To make us even worse there is no training for this group. The employees who are losing our jobs have to train the people in India. There is no plan in place and things change each day. It is a total cluster fu-k. The project manager Shawn Anderson is clueless. We also have contractors training the people in India. The India team is struggling tremendously. Our jobs in this group have so many one off situations and grey areas. They amount of business Allstate Benefits is going to lose over this move will be a lot. Allstate Benefits is a sinking ship with terrible leadership.
They are not moving ALL of claims to india...ever.
India struggles with voice contact. Most overseas roles are non customer contact.
There's no way all of ATSV is moving to Pune.
When will this happen this year ?
FNOL, agency services, and CCC to offshore vendors.
Underwriting totally automated/AI
ATSC, ATSV, most of rest of claims including property, policy administration, and some legal that is not being elimated moved almost entirely to Pune. This move to Pune has been happening slowly and gradually will happen to its completion after the move to vendors for the other areas.
The vast majority of all onshore departments and employees will be impacted in some way and manner by this.
