Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Where is the optimism

I hear executives say things like “we arent going bankrupt” but i dont hear the justification behind why the lawsuits wont be a fatal blow to the company? Where is the case for optimism for our company? Is there one? What does the scenario look like? Let’s say there’s a small chance that these lawsuits don’t break us, what does an optimist believe will take place? Looking for a reason to be positive

Some serious liability here

Someone once said some people are more equal than others. Given the information the top dogs have, them leaving is not a good sign. Creates a weird atmosphere of FUD amongst the typical workers in the company.

The exodus of exec talent is not coincidental

Was the company ever giving good signs to you? I used to work here 2 years ago, I am sorry to say this, but I don't think ethics and 3M should be in the same sentence. They have screwed over anyone they can sc--w over, from coworkers, ex employees, customers, governments. The bellwether trials aren't new, the PFAS scandal had been making the news for about four years now.

Does any of this leave much room for optimism?
