Mays Landing is the only sure bet to close.
East Brunswick Macy's was on the list but appear to be turning the corner and making there numbers so they are probably safe for now. Plus Macy's owns that site.
Livingston Macy's in NJ has an expiring lease so will either close within the next two years or they will renew the lease and convert that store into a distribution center without in-store shopping.
Had a bad feeling about Mays Landing NJ ( Hamilton). They are the only anchor left in that mall. If anyone else has info would appreciate it. There have been rumors on a few other stores in NJ but no one knows how accurate. The current economy and stagflation do not help at all.
Mays Landing, NJ Macy's will close next year the lease not being renewed. That's all I have.
Inquiring minds want to know. Any “inside” info out there?
