I'd like to know if the merger is going to happen or not right now and I'd like to know if my position is going to be cut or not as a result. Having to wait as long as we have and speculate and worry over it is ten times worse. Just let us know what's going to happen and get it over with.

This is very true. They will keep if they need you for the bottom line. Every employee in this place is disposable
Just search for a new job and leave. Don't stress out about what the company is going to do. At the end of the day, they could care less about any of us. The attrition rate reflects that.
