Claims transfer to Gallagher Bassett

Has the transfer to Gallagher Bassett fallen apart? Not only have most taken other jobs who were to go but I am hearing rumblings of a big problem with the contract and work going over, anyone know?

GB Is the worst run company! Adjuster have been turned into data entry processing staff. They knew with other mergers of similar issues but continue to do nothing to improve. People have lost track of there claims, system are horrible. People are stressed out! May have been a good deal for GB and AIG horrible for the employees. I would never refer anyone to this poorly ran company. They do not subscribe to touching something once
and being done with that task - instead u have to do 5 things to get 1 thing done. Duplication duplication—- this merger was too big for GB to handle.. in a year from now how many AIG employees and insureds will stay..

Extension of termination date for those not going to GB, from July 8 to Sept 30. Some received emails last week saying they would be receiving up to 20% of their annual salary for the inconvenience. Others didn't receive that email making them feel really valued for staying to the end..(NOT). If something is said, then AIG can invoke the clause to terminate you without cause and thus losing your severance. A shame that executives have run w.comp division into the ground.

So it’s a huge computer issue with the transfer to Gallagher, instead of laying off everyone and having Gallagher hire when it’s all fixed we have to be in limbo, be stressed out while they sc--w everyone over. Can you say stress leave

Sounds more like an attempt to $crew over the people who were getting fired July 8. Those people have been banking their vacation days counting on the check to help them pay bills ect. for after they leave. Instead Drag them on, then extend them into January so they not only lose those days, but also get frustrated and just find something better losing the severance that AIG would then not have to pay. And blame it on a computer issue

Adjustments being made here are like putting more garbage in a dumpster fire. That’s the type of company this is.
