This is the same strategy they used back in the early 2000s... buy, buy, buy companies to build the software portfolio because it is cheaper to acquire companies with existing software than to build software from scratch... But all these companies we are buying to also try to increase revenues, will be jettisoned in the future once IBM has destroyed their product lines and these products no longer sell.
We will be paying off the debt for Red Hat for another 10 years. That is, if the rising interest on that debt doesn't ki-l the company before that.
Another company IBM has to pay for. Aren't they still paying off on Red Hat ?
