There cost saving measures are running them into the ground. Eliminating full time associates that gave a damn replacing them with part timers who spend most of their time on their phones hiding in a corner. Some good managers but also abusive ones too. When this company started buying up other companies I knew it wouldn’t be long until they would be in trouble. I worked for this company for nearly 20 years. It’s a shame to see it as it is now.

@rom. So you hope many of your fellow employees lose their jobs, their paychecks, and are unemployed? Real thoughtful and nice.
I think the only chance of survival that this company has is closing more stores.

Sales are way down. Remodels are just not happening at a meaningful rate. District turnover continues. Cash burn and building debt limits possibilities.
But hey the c- suite are still getting raises to base salary so it’s not all bad.
I heard 190 stores
I heard 150 in total
Part of me says no because I haven’t heard it from anyone else.
Part of me says yes because this company cannot survive with some of their stores.
So I await more comments.
hopefully if it’s true, they use the money saved to pay the vendors so we can start getting product in again (besides our owned brand garbage)
