I see the titles of some of these people retiring and think it is amazing that EM paid those people 15 to 40 years doing that useless job scope.
I hope many of those stupid positions are not backfilled.
Platform Supervisor
In the old days, a Platform Supervisor was in charge of an offshore oil and gas production facility, making money for EM.
Now a Platform Supervisor is an IT computer guy on Campus. Not producing oil or gas or making money for EM.

When a company give a title of Foreperson to a foreman, that company has gone too woke to succeed.
Everybody should be treated equal. Equal means not bowing down to any group at all, just plain equal. Many people belong to minuscule segments of our culture that do not have slogans or flags, just treat everyone equal every time every day so that even if you do not know a person’s beliefs, the believe that they were treated fairly in every interaction with you.
Focus on actual meaningful fair treatment while we’re are busy producing hydrocarbons and not rainbow flags and meaningless wokeness efforts.

“Acting” next to a title means that you have the ability but no sponsor to secure that job for you
