Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Use this time to develop new skills

Let's face it, most of us know our time at BBBY is limited even if we've been here for a decade or more. Now's the best time to work on improving our skills and moving away from retail in general. I'd recommend checking out technical degrees at your local junior colleges. It would help you qualify for a high demand and well paid job that would be a huge improvement over BBBY. Just something to think about.

The OP (i would guess) is trying to help but the thing is people have different skills and aspirations. This board gets quite redundant from suggestions
There are career counselors snd are often free from the Unemployment office.

15+ years here and that’s what I’m going to do. That is a great idea. The medical field is exploding and it doesn’t take very long to become a phlebotomist or like an X-ray tech. Thank you for that very powerful post.
