No compassion. Yet SVP, VP's who have had cancer do NOT have to apply for FMLA or take days off or use their vacations. They are just "not at work today". Pepsi does not care and 3 bereavement days, please that is not enough to even get to funeral home and have a service - yet they will send ridiculous over priced blue flowers. A joke. They only offer child care and elder care tax free accounts. Non supportive and if you even think HR cares, hahahaha.
The person who wrote this attack on single parents is a sad case. We had life insurance and savings. If you had an ounce of intelligence you’d understand my contention was with the “poor” life choices statement. My wife did not “choose” to get cancer and die. She fought as hard as she could and worked up to 6 weeks before a painful death. You, I and everyone on this planet are one cellular mutation away from a metastasized malignancy. Since I’m a Christian I’d never wish that awful fate on even an insensitive person like you. I pray God steers you to some common sense and brings some humanity to your heart.
What an insensitive twit comment. Whoever made that statement regarding single parents grow up. I’m one with a teenager daughter. My wife died of cancer last year. We have no family in this country and haven’t asked anyone for a stinking nickel in help. My daughter is a high school student and works 25 hours a week at least. We live in a low income housing development. I have yet to get through a week at Pepsi without putting in at least 60 hours. The insensitive troglodyte who posted this - heaven help you should you ever end up like we did due to a dreaded disease. As----e.
Pepsi outsourced my department made of 11 single mothers.
"A Pepsi family, LMFAO. My father worked for your bottling company for 25+ years. You fired him after denying to extend his leave while he was undergoing chemo, I guess to avoid paying out insurance? He died a few months later. Fu-k you and Pepsi Families."
