What a slap in the face

A 2% raise and get your bu-t back in the office in 15 days...Thanks for all the notice, by the way. With the prices of everything going up, this is effectively a pay decrease. Now I have to pay for fuel to the office, spend time in my car... Oh yeah, just in time for school to get out. Get those kids some $daycare.$

And for what? Let's not kid ourselves here, nobody's going to be in office the same days; we'll just be doing teams meetings from our desks. Your home office, at work. I guess it's better to see the sea of peons from their corner office instead of online.

we have lost 15% of the staff in my department since sti was paid and no one is being replaced. that a pretty good sign of what is to come.

Yeah we just had the most disappointing pay raise meeting. Other companies are willing to pay top tier and AIG is a sinking ship right now. At least 4 of my co workers are looking at new companies after this meeting we had. Good luck aig!

Cost of living adjustment? At least where I'm at, that's never been mentioned.

I just found there is no raise in my department either and I’m an underwriter. We bring the company money every year and we can’t get a damn raise?? I look at investment bankers who’s goal is to make their firm money and they get million dollar bonus’s and are paid a high base comp. But we can’t get anything as our goal is to bring AIG money too?? I DONT GET IT.

Just think of the ones who did not get any cost of living increase.

If it makes you feel better, PZ made $24,000,000 TDC last year which included a $4,500,000 sti bonus all for running this ship into the ground. Cheers!
