Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

A culture of secrecy

I am so annoyed by the culture of secrecy at Xerox. Management seems to think it is perfectly fine to leave employees out of the loop.

I believe there are many who have left Xerox for this very reason. Don't we deserve at least a little more transparency if nothing else?

Sounds about right.

I wouldn't trust what corp mgmt might disclose, anyway.

It's the 2nd largest reason why I left. The main reason was the death of the print industry being accelerated by Covid, but the constant rumors and lack of transparency was a close 2nd. I don't expect the employees to be given the minutes from the Board of directors meetings, but we went almost all of 2021 without any real communication from the CEO (or even Steve B) which is unexcusable in the negative business climate we were in. All it did was feed even more rumors and created too many distractions.
