Prudential Center Barnes & Noble Closing Permanently

The Barnes & Noble in the Prudential Center is permanently closing after its owners said they could not reach an agreement with their landlord.

“We have truly enjoyed serving our customers and the community for the past 20 years!” the business posted on Facebook.

The store will close on June 19.

The business encouraged its customers to visit locations in Hingham and Peabody.

I heard this store's management drove everyone away every employee. And then the corporate mo--ns gave the store manager a promotion. So typical.

Fitting. A very cold announcement. That's how they've treated most of their employees over the years, especially the good ones who quit and those who were unjustly driven out!

Good. Close them all down, they deserve to be shuttered. Down with BN, Daunt, Waterstones.
