You mean all the MIF that ends up not renewing or canceling outright? What a tool you are, hahaha.

Absolute BS being spewed. XBS continues to get more and more MIF that used to be handled by Xerox direct. We are now considered the xerox direct sales channel and the realignment between xerox/xbs service was just one step towards that. Nothing is getting piecemealed out. Why even entertain these tards on here?

Agree with XBS as a standalone company. Just can't figure out the service side of the house and where it goes. Huge disconnect between service and sales organizations. XBS rolls over to an IT and dealer channel. Almost feels like service was a tryout for Lexmark.

I hate to bust everyone's bubble, but GIS/XBS isn't as great as everyone says it is (or was). I've seen the actual comparisons between Xerox direct and XBS from the perspectives of sales & compensation, P&L results, and operational processes.

Trust me, GIS/XBS just did a better job of selling themselves to the executive committee. They aren't any better on sales, P&L management, and for sure operational processes than the direct side is. And Xerox direct has seen the truth over the past couple of years after they were finally able to wade through all of the data.

Is XBS good? Sure. Great? No. I could give examples but suffice it to say the direct side and XBS are very close in a lot of metrics and standards.

I've seen some hints that XBS will be sold to another company or cut loose as its own standalone dealer channel soon, not affiliated with any major OEM. I think Xerox is getting out of the consumer sales game and will just be an equipment and supplies OEM sold through external channels.

For anyone wondering about XBS, check Salesforce and note the realignments away from XBS.
It’s happening.

Exactly, they got "xeroxed". Screwed up a once great part of the business. That's why they all need to get out now before it's too late (which is fast approaching with the current clown show at the top).

I'm XRX legacy and at the beginning always heard how well run GIS was. Then I got to see it and agreed. Most of the people there, that I worked with, were a notch above their XRX counterparts. Then they got Xerox'ed!

It's still puzzling why Xerox employees dislike XBS and vice versa. Xerox chose to takeover GIS a long time ago and nothing employees can do about it. It's unfortunate for XBS that Xerox powers to be have a stranglehold on them and layoffs affect all of us. If you're not happy here, then focus on your next steps.

I check in here less than prior years, but these posts are still same. There used to be leaked info early on with HCL but now just a bitter forum.

I hope the best for everyone's future, whether you stay with Xerox or move on.

My numbers speak for themselves. If Ralph wants to take notes from my moves then that's on him. I'll gladly run the docs myself. Don't threaten me with a good time.

They’re right. Get out of XBS NOW!
8 people let go last month from our old GIS Core. If you stay, you’re a sitting duck.

XBS is and will always be the premier channel for Xerox. Don’t get it twisted. This is just another competitor or ex lo$er trying to stir the pot as usual. Move on.

I don't believe the OP was being negative about XBS. It sounds like they have information about a potential sale or shutdown that would impact the XBS employees. The very fact that XBS is so productive may be what's driving the upcoming changes.

Or maybe OP is just a competitor trying to stir the pot and get in our heads.

You couldn't be more wrong; all the original Xerox people are leaving in waves because they get a pension and can't keep up with how XBS do their jobs. Xerox techs just work on their Xerox boxes while the XBS people work on everything. This is why Xerox bought all the Global companies, far more productivity at a much lower cost. As for sales, I don't believe there are any Xerox salespeople who actually go out and work for sales, they just sit at home and wait for the customer to contact them. These are some of the reasons why Xerox has been in a downfall for years. Fact.
