Anyone been looking for fully remote jobs lately?

Wow
What is you point about the geologist leaving? Are you one of those inept people who cannot put together a PowerPoint presentation with a purpose?
A Geologist left OXY for a remote job out of state doing geology!
I prefer not to live life like a hermit, and I actually like the people I work with.
100% remote work is called retirement. The pay is not very good unless you have a pension from the real oil companies.
Probably not going to find one in oil and gas. Everyone I know are back at work at the office and some do not even have a hybrid schedule at the companies they work for. I know a few that just quit and found lesser paying jobs, but to them they learned how to live with less during the pandemic, since they were not out doing things. I know one person that works about 25 hours a week supporting a company remotely not even in the state where they live. Many people are doing the same and hence the shortage of workers.
