Lm@o we hate this job just as much as ever. Why greet people that yell at you constantly to get what they want?
I'm confident that at the time of the post he believed dystopia had a different definition.
The reference to cameras, security and checking receipts is clear.

Good work places do exist, people are doing work they love everyday. Folks you just talked yourself into staying at that treat you like pure sh-t because you saying every job has bad stuff going on. Look if you like Walmart stay. But there way too much opportunity out here than to stay at terrible low paying work. Working full time at these low skilled jobs won’t even pay for a studio apartment in many cases. In other words there ARE good pleasant jobs out here that pay well. Folks accept being broke for a year and go to trade school or online school. Or youll be spinning your wheel in jobs like this your entire life.
I’m truly shocked and genuinely impressed at the same time. Dystopia is a level 14 word, and not typically used in this forum. Technically (and theoretically), dystopia can not exist because it’s the opposite of utopia, which can not exist, either. But, I totally get the intent of the poster. It’s quite clever. Kudos to that person. It’s a bit melodramatic, especially in the sense of a work place, but nonetheless thought provoking.
It would be interesting to see some posts identifying the utopian work place. That way we could compare.
