Nearly every 2019-2021 review of the service given by insurance companies completed by independent entities has Allstate in the top three of the worst…Many has Allstate as the worst…Their major competitors of Geico and Progressive continued to beat Allstate in price while finding a way to handle claims more efficiently and while servicing the customer much better.
This is the legacy of Wilson and Shapiro..
They have driven the stock price to where it currently is by spending tens of millions of company dollars in stock buybacks and burning down the infrastructure that used to competently service their customers and claimants and destroying any good will that once existed between the company and those hard workers that they sarcastically call “grunts.”
This is the permanent legacy of those two money grabbers and the rest of the leadership team that they have surrounded themselves with for which the ONLY focus is driving that stock price up to enrich themselves without any thought to customers or their hard working employees…
There is a reason that Allstate no longer hires senior leadership from within and looks for those senior hires from underperforming competitors…
Think of what Allstate could be if they spent those buyback millions to improve customer service and support those employees who do the job vs, making their work life a living h@@l..
