I am aware that there are many better places that give employees higher pay and better benefits, but still it is not easy to start from scratch after almost 12 years here. I’m pretty sure most stay here just because they are too anxious to leave?

Chris needs to go & just start over.
HR & Chris….just d-mb. The whole thing.
How is Mark still there? Talk about social issues & problems with women. Just d-mb.
Hanging with HR. Great team. The blind leading the id--ts. Perfect.
Swing meaning affairs. 10 people have had an affair with someone in HR?
This could be like 10 different people. Lol
Chris, this is the guy that needs to be fired. Remove him, and the company instantly picks up 10 dollars a share over night. He’s the problem and always has been, but he’s protected cause he swings with folks in HR so they back up all of his long list of failures constantly.
I say put up or shut up. You don't like it here, then leave. All this talk about people wasting time around the office . . . sounds a lot like people complaining on an internet board about their job, how easy it is to get a new and better position, but still clocking in every day. News flash - not everyone mails it in like you, so stop projecting your lack of work ethic on everyone else. You act like you're smarter than most, so act like it.
Couldn’t imagine being stuck here for 12 years.
Anxious or lazy?
I think a lot of people are comfortable with giving minimal effort to their job, so they stay. Denbury VERY rarely fires someone and if you’re “in” you will not get fired so you just coast thru life.
