It's a financial decision for a company that is truly global. As long as the job gets done cheaply no matter who and where is not a second thought. Labor in US has always been expensive, in current times it has aggravated more. With unemployment rising, inflation rising, no wonder we are heading into the next recession, but can't blame companies for making financial decisions that support their business imperatives. Folks impacted can always find a new opportunity in such market, anyways majority of them have been unhappy.
I’m in the process of moving about 1/4 of my role to GBS that will be 2 people. Literally 1/4 of my job = 2 GBs full time equivalent. Has taken way more time than I even have to map out all the process for them. Thinking about exiting or going to a new role right when they take over…cannot deal
All this saving money with GBS and the stock is doing horrible.
that is what they are doing with payroll. GBS is terrible at payroll. they keep telling HRZA to spot check GBS's work I don't check GBSs work. If they want to get rid of my position and GBS is so great why should I have to check their work
GBS Mexico level 6 gets paid $ 800.00 a month! Not eligible for vacation after one year. They are made L6 to not pay OT. My old department had 11 people. GBS took over with 40 people and they can’t do the job !
