Pushing the older employees through the door to hire younger ones in their place, who will want to be paid more but won't take their job seriously at all, is a mistake that will cost Belk a lot in the future. They don’t seem to know the younger generations, their habits and aspirations at all.

It is ok to make mistakes as long as you learn from them! How much longer Belk store managers and corporate boneheads will learn from their mistakes?
You can’t have a million dollars dream and 1.9 billion dollars in debt at Belk to call it a success. It is more than just minimum lazy work ethic from your Belk new hires! Belk managers do not making mistakes. They choose to ignore their mistakes!
