Thread regarding Western Digital Corp. layoffs

Tired of Entitled and Rude People who haven’t even been with the company more than a year

How many times do we have to hear “Do you know who [my boss] is” just to get their way.

Have you ever thought of asking politely and or actually going through proper channels to execute jobs properly and the right way?

Employees starting to sound like entitled white kids saying “Do you know who my father is?” This is a workplace not a fraternity. There is a system in place so you can get what you want the right way instead of leeching off of what little is left of some teams.

Just because you report to leadership doesn’t mean the system doesn’t apply to you.

I agree. I’ve been here longer then most of my peers and yet no promotions. Meanwhile they bring in people way more under qualified and put them in charge. It’s no wonder people leave, it’s the only way to get promoted!

I cannot tell you the number of times I have seen Goeklers VP of Strategic Comms ask if you know who she is and who she reports to. Yes we know and we don't care. What a blowhard that just launched a bizarre new brand look...or whatever she calls it. Zero value add. So over our new leadership team.
