Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Kind Suggestion

Maybe have and will/start taking screen shots showing 45 NEW VOICEMAILS received in 48 hours. Because, you know, ONLY the CO (Claim Owner) can help. No option to zero out on the call (we were advised to re-record our voicemail and EXCLUDE the zero-out option), and our poor claim associates have been advised to only transfer to the CO'S voicemail. Is the CO sick (not allowed), on PTO(not allowed), off for ANY reason ( not allowed)? Too frickin' bad Mr. Insured, Mr, Claimant, Mr. Attorney (PC disclaimer, Ms., Miss, It , They, You ...), ONLY the CO can respond because no one else knows/ understands what the HE-L is going on around here, and BTW, no one above a TM level wants/ cares to about YOUR problem.
SOLUTION: Tell ANYONE/EVERYONE that complains about claim handling that you AGREE and:

  1. you have to work every weekend to

keep up, and that still isn't enough

  1. you empathize and understand their pain, but until so please make an executive complaint, otherwise it will be business as ususal
  2. you, as an employee are in the SAME BOAT, as the poor insured, claimant ,attornery i.e. we are ALL being "blown off" .

also, they expect us to answer like 30% of our direct line calls, on top of the zero out working. Our team has teammates managing voicemails on days off so it doesnt get out of control.

Real issue is you cannot properly manage 200-300 claims properly. they can add a 3rd phone line to juggle for all I care, nothing is going to improve when you have one person dealing with 300 claims and all the related people and problems.

Im glad the zero out is no longer advertised, staying logged into the hunt line when i get calls from two conflicting call systems was a nightmare. Ill deal with the VM's over that anyday. Less working peoples claims who are on the way out using up all their PTO before they give notice too, which is nice. Im actually not sure how you could want to go back to the hunt line being slammed.

Again, you can thank retired executive Robert Yi….a failure…..and by the way ole tippy took home nearly 20 million last year…..as the company NETTED 17 billion…..i would encourage any young employee especially in t(e auto company who is working in a BI unit..to get out ASAP as things arent going to change…only get worse…..

There is still a CS line my G, when I leave VMs I tell them to press 0 rather then leaving a VM. Also, why while you are out, your team should be monitoring your VMs and returning them. I covered one of my Teammates yesterday who was out, and returned 10 VMs . Sounds like your TM isn’t doing their job G.
