To "Me", the people who are here defending Tom and Glenn have either made some bad decisions in life, didn't study hard in school, or maybe don't "test well." The only options for gainful employment left to them are getting paid for posting comments defending the indefensible.
We should feel sorry for them.
Allstate remains overwhelmed with complainers and lifetime underachievers who deny realities of modern corporate America and the cutthroat insurance industry. It’s survival of the fittest. And if you’ve been too brain dead or lazy to recognize this over at least the past 5 years at Allstate then shame on you for not being better prepared when the hatchet comes down. You’ve got nobody to blame but yourself if you sit there screwed. Lord knows you’ve had ample insights and warnings. Adapt or die.
To the person defending Tom and Glen, I ask: Do these so-called good guys ever think about the people they hurt? Layoffs in the middle of a pandemic, and not because of the pandemic but only to increase profits! Allstate service has sunk to terrible lows. Employees can’t wait to leave. Stress levels through the roof. The word is out and no one wants to work there. Yeah, Tom and Glenn are good guys- not!

I will agree with the previous post that Tom, Glenn, and Eric "make [Allstate] what it is". I don't think there's any disputing that. A fish rots from the head.
Tom Wilson works hard to keep this company going. It’s extremely troubling all the negative comments about him and also Glenn who breaks his back making this company what it is. Have some respect. You’re biting the hands that literally feed you.

Give us an end of the year annual boss like progressive and USAA Tommy ! We’re tired of working 12 hour days plus weekends to keep up due to the layoffs .

And if they don't want to adjust pay to the market, that's their choice, good luck hiring or retaining talent.
