Total restructuring of the entire business unit! Management, supervisors, and technician/shop will all be filtered out!
The repair shop will be shut down and work sent to contractors!
Service will thin 25-35% at every level with a majority being the techs!
They will also begin transitioning to contractor work for field service!
office personnel that remain will be to complete administrative work and billing!
Streamline the entire business model is the only way they will turn a profit!
And who knew it would only take a 3% slap in the face raise
Its about time, lets hope it plays out!

The biggest problem I have with bammel is they continue to employ people who do not belong in the positions they have! Sure they have gotten rid of the good ole boy clubs management, but they forgot to removed all the people that were put in positions by them! If you work in service or repair but have never done that job how can you be qualified to manage it or speak about it to customers on conference calls.
I heard if your part of the Korean fight club you get promoted! Just saying!
Its time we cut the the incompetent employees they call techs at bammel and let people that actually understand how a drilling rig operates go do the job!
The controls guys are a joke, they only show up to plug in and let Norway do the job for them!
Then you have the guys that have no business being out there, would rather lay in the bunk and watch tv than go outside and work!
The only people worth a damn are the Derrick builders and any oldtimers that are left!
