Mandatory overtime

I'm sick of it. My free time is priceless. This time I am willing to risk my job by refusing mandatory overtime. So far I have tried to politely raise the issue with my boss, but to no avail. Has anyone managed to refuse mandatory overtime while keeping the job?

Prefer a shootout to overtime. In overtime the end can take forever… just like the xerox endgame.Taking…………………….So.……………………very…………………… Long…………………………

I think the idea is not to keep the job.

The pin heads are out in full force tonite. Keyboard warriors all, or at least wannabes.

Some real tools and pieces of work, that are truly misguided or bought off souls.

Xerox sucks and so do you for supporting it. You obviously know that you are unbelievably biased as can be, after everyone has come on this site, telling everyone of the evils, false platitudes and problems here.
And yet you still deny it. Pure Evil.
Nice job. Anti American ba----ds.

Lets see you skew the numbers to make this post or any other fit your narrative.

For those of you who are no longer a Xerox employee, your opinions are no longer required or wanted.

If you left on your own accord, then good riddance.

If you got pushed then it was probably deserved.

Okay here's the difference since I left Xerox.
I work at a startup with a 4 day week.
I have to remind my employees to take their time off seriously and that unlimited time off is not a trap and that they should take some when they need or want. I have to tell them to book their Thursday afternoon off for personal research and development on whatever they want as long as it has something to do with growing their skill-set for their job or a job they'd like to grow into. I have to tell them if they feel there's too much work its a sign we need more people so don't stress out just let me know.
God its good to have left this dilbert he-l ho-e.
