Anyone else feeling beaten down?

After many years working here, things just aren’t exciting like they used to be. I dread work even day. Awful leadership tanked morale and ruined trust.

No wonder Beaumont continues to have high attrition rates. It will be interesting to see how many more people elect to retire this quarter.

Sounds like Beaumont and Baton Rouge are in a competition to drive good folks away while stocking up on LTA managers and department heads. Every post I read about Beaumont O and A. Reminds me of our engineers and specialists.

Absolutely feeling beaten down. They tried to use the 3% to put out the fire but I personally feel more mass attrition will happen regardleas

The O&A Chemical plant in Beaumont has been like that for a while now. Morale sucks and management just turns a blind eye. The massive amount of overtime and less family time has people just going through the motions here. This can be changed but THEY and THEM just refuse to do so. There is a bright side to all of this THEY and THEM let us know how it's good for us to spend so much time here and how THEY know what's best for us. THEY do let us call our families and explain why we can't make Birthdays and anniversary on our days off and to tell Junior maybe well go fishing next year. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Got used to feeling like this, I don’t foresee anything changing until our CEO changes and the slate wiped clean.

I couldn't work for them any longer. The raises just flat out suck.
