Thread regarding ViacomCBS layoffs

How is anybody able to deal with management?

Horrible management, the worst I've ever had the displeasure to work for. First of all, most of them are incompetent. Second of all, they love to micromanage our every move for no good reason. And third of all, they use intimidation tactics to keep employees in line. All in all, absolutely the worst.

This has to be company policy, not complacency, among the management ranks to allow this level of The Peter Principle. Companies almost never want long-term employees (why they despise the union folks despite attempting to project a liberal fascia) because they simply accrue too many benefits over time. What they haven't, perhaps, concluded is that management incompetence ensures an increased reliance on labor. The union depends upon it. It's laughable.

I'm sure that very useful Gallup Poll will weed them out.
