S&P ESG is a new Wall Street scheme to scam more profit, period.
In terms of things ACTUALLY done for ESG, Exxon does do quite a lot around the world. Certainly not at the core of what we do but also far better than say McKinsey.
ESG is a load of cr-p. Exxon is doing a good job dancing around it. It'll fade away soon
I think Honeywell is on the list and they are a totally fu---d company so who knows. Maybe Elon is right? He is a lot smarter than me so meh. Who cares.
There is more to ESG than building electric cars that crash and ki-l people (not super sustainable), catch fire and cannot be put out (not super sustainable) by a company that has basically zero moral for fair work and fair pay (not super sustainable) using a lot of oil based components. People need to understand what ESG is about and it’s not all about electric cars built with billions and billions in government handouts.
