Did anyone make the mistake of taking a job with the extended partners?

Time to find a new skillset and get out!
I know several FS techs that still are, they hate it but they are having difficulty finding new jobs that pay as much and/or don't require driving site to site. Considering their skillset, HCL is trapping them with a high wage and beating down on them.
Some did, the ones I know of aren't with them any more...
