Attrition at the plants is all time high. several positions are open and base work is not getting done.

@1ohp, your correct. Base work is good / needs improvement. No matter how good your are at it. Very different than the old ranking system. Amazing how the bar has moved. Like it or not it’s been adjusted to drive further innovation and competitiveness. I think we all wonder if that’s driving the right behavior in manufacturing. Are we not all supposed to be experts at our base job? That is a competitive advantage.
Base work doesn't count for your pds, thats a low priority..
They’ve now got supervisors quitting in BR, at least 3 in the last month. Sounds like they are struggling to backfill. Sure we can keep the lights on when we are lean but how bad does it have to get. Don’t expect much change until the higher ups don’t have a minion to backfill them, they won’t be happy when their careers stop.
Between retirements and attrition this place is starting to look bare.
