Layoffs? What's a layoff? We don't lay off people. After all WE ARE EXXONMOBIL. (Written by someone laid off in 2020)
Who needs layoffs when people are resigning so fast we cannot adequately staff the work we already have. Not to mention the rising interest rates eroding everyone’s lump sum payments forcing accelerated retirements.
Besides, about half of the NSI recipients will probably leave “voluntarily” too, so there’s really no need to whack anyone anymore.
