Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Prepare - A tidal wave is coming !!!

Put on your seat belts xerox and xbs…. A tidal wave is coming. In the coming weeks/months look for some large announcements and formal restructuring. Jon V to step down , maybe take board seat. Steve B to CEO …
Mary MCNuts to president ???
Go to market channels XBs will be fully integrated into Enterprise… Feldman out and JCS running it all ( yep, that’s right). Look for consolidated organization to be regionalized - 4 to 5 regions. XBS presidents no more. Overlapping and redundant roles eliminated (production , software etc). Get ready !!!!

Pretty accurate forecast... This may turn out to be true.
MF is "retiring from Xerox" voluntarily (not "retiring" in absolute terms, only "from Xerox"), not sure why / how though... His decision to retire is not due to any disagreement with the Company which means he is leaving behind a $5M total termination benefit.
the point is now who is going to backfill his position running a) AMS; and b) GDS.
Now Xerox announces Tender Offer for 2023 Notes for up to $350 million aggregate principal amount of its 3.625% (now 4.625%) Senior Notes due 2023... It seems they are cleaning up debt to make P&L / Balance sheet look better for M&A?

Everything you don’t agree with gets automatically tagged as “random b s “

Taking the easy way out, aren’t we?

Its called disinformation. Not everything is true and not everything is false. Certainly there is a wide variety of opinions here. It all depends on what your idea of truth actually is.

Remember, a lie is best placed between two truths. Food for thought.

It's the b@@tees of the c@tees situation all over again. Saw it in 93. I wouldn't bet the farm on migrating over to Enterprise. I here their program planning is substantially low right now, but XRX has been known to dip into old cookie jars looking for crumbs. Anything for a buck.

My bet Louie Pastor is the next CEO. He is Carl's guy, was head of Legal for Icahn Enterprises before his XRX stop. They keep rolling him out for Town Halls. He is young, smart and good looking - just the guy you need to be the front man for the crime they are about to pull off.

Maybe this post is right - with Feldman 'retirement' something is on the move.

It affects only 4-6 people because only 11 still work there. Sounds about right. Another really genius move from xerox management and the ivory tower.

And you’re right …”who does care?” Likely no one. But it will be interesting to watch the Graf Zeppelin (rebranded Hindenburg) hit the ground on fire.

If i were Icahn, i would purchase some open fields and farmland somewhere to land this beast, before somebody drops a bo-b on someone somewhere, no doubt.

Ka-bobb-aloom. The toner explosion alone will make everyone wear masks for another 2 years. Swell. Hows that for a carbon footprint 👣?

Keith Cozza (chmn of board) and one other of Icahn's people are leaving the BoD this week. So my guess is that something is afoot.

I journeyed to the deepest part of South America where I was given a drink made by the local medicine man. I slipped into a dream like state for several hours, which turned out to be days. When I regained consciousness I remembered that in my altered state a wise being told me that when I go to "the layoff" I will learn that everything in Xerox is going badly and that all the predictions of such will be made by people who will never leave until they are fired or the company goes under. Oh yeah... and they will continue to make predictions based on absolutely no facts.

Oh man! Thanks for the warning! I’m going to go stock up on water, canned food, and a flashlight right now just in case. Thank you Obi-Wan Kenobi.

And? Everybody already knows about the regionalization plan. It’s only been happening for the last 5 years slowly but surely. Not exactly a secret.
