Thread regarding Pembina Pipeline Corp layoffs

Asset Information Manager position

Hi all. Requesting some feedback about this position. Do not know much about the company or the teams who I may potentially be leading. Any feedback is appreciated. TSU, SAP/CMMS, Document Control / Drafting, GIS.

Culture, people, processes, etc. THX.

Suffered with DS in Op Excellence and every day she would arrive to the Sherwood Park office on a broom.

Using Ian Martin staffing is on brand for her.

Saw that over the weekend when looking for new opportunities. The indeed rating for employee happiness at Pembina is 48%. Not a surprise but that is shocking for a company like Pembina with the resources we have. They don't care about us. Kudos to everyone who left feedback.

By the way, there is a job posting from a staffing agency (Ian Martin) on indeed.ca for an SAP Master Data Analyst, and anyone finds this site should run away from the job. Comical that the posting states: "Our client, one of Canada’s most progressive Midstream companies in Canada." Holy baloney. You would also be working for the wicked witch from Sherwood Park (DS). Run!

Check out the work happiness report for Pembina on Indeed. Gives a reasonable snapshot of the overall company and culture.

Watch out for several of the folks in facility integrity as well. There are some really good people there, but several in supervisory positions will stonewall you at every turn, and throw you under the bus anytime they get a chance.

I interact with TSU on a daily basis with most of their teams. Here are my thoughts: Good luck to you. If you are not tearing your hair out after two months.. welcome to the club. The GIS team are consummate professionals and easy to work with. SAP MM was/is terribly mismanaged. SAP is awful, and they had the wrong people managing it on a shoestring budget from the beginning (which is on brand for Pembina). They burned bridges with field personnel everywhere and there is still trust that needs to be slowly restored in certain areas. The drafting and document control team needs attention. Gut their leadership and certain staff members. That group is in need of adult supervision. Best of luck.
