Allstate seems to have no need for competent employees, but only for those who will be able to keep a cool head under enormous pressure? The reasons are obvious.
I lasted a little over two years. The breaking point was when the boss started yelling at me for not meeting his unrealistic demands. I have zero tolerance for yelling.
In general, I think everyone should show no tolerance for horrible behavior towards employees here.

@3pgb+1gIC4WHm assuming they actually yelled. I'm not convinced. Kids (snowflake zoomer) these days call anything other than affirmation "being yelled at"...
Getting yelled at by your manager is never acceptable and the trolls referring to the OP as a puppy or a snowflake are just that, trolls! Stress is so high in claims that everyone is at a breaking point. And management has no credibility if they state there will be no layoffs. We’ve heard that before!

I heard there are managers who are really mean to puppies. Get a life you wimps. It’s business where things need to be accomplished
I have personally seen managers yell at those that work for them, they were reported and then counseled and then did it again, and then reported again. It took about 18-24 months but those managers were fired.
HR’s primary’ function is to protect the company. They won’t help you. Documentation for what? They have already created a hostile work environment and no one cares. If you can’t handle the way things are here you need to resign your position if possible. If not, grow a thicker skin. You’re going to need it as the next 18 months before India takes over all of auto and casualty is going to be extremely ugly and harsh as they push everyone to the breaking point to save on severance before the next big round of bye bye hits. Customers are leaving too. There is zero growth in the Allstate book. It’s all fluff growth from adding esurance and Nat Gen into the fold.
Call HR. Our supervisors are so stressed out trying to meet these unrealistic metrics that they sometimes step out of line . HR will at least document it. We’re so understaffed in auto claims that both adjusters and customers are suffering. Transformative growth has hurt everyone. I have a boss that pushes us to work 10-12 hour days to keep up with the unreal volume .
OMG, my desk job is so stressful, woe is me... Did your boss tell, or just confront you about your terrible performance? And yelling? Likely not, probably just a zoomer that has never been told no.
Nobody cares about your car. I certain don’t. It could rot in the body shop for all I care. I hope the next claim rep you speak to tells you to take the bus.
We don’t care about you or your claim, and the Powers that Be have made it impossible for us to do our jobs. We are too burned out to care. Go whine somewhere else!
My single car claim was reported 2/3. It still has not been settled. I would appreciate if you babies would stop your constant complaining and do some work. Claims is an absolute joke. Every time I call in I get a different person and a different excuse. Complete joke. You all should be embarrassed
Allstate SAYS it doesn’t tolerate disrespectful behavior. I hope you made a complaint to HR. Even if they did nothing, the record remains to be seen, when the next complaint comes up. Sorry you had to deal with that.
