Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

TFB is a joke

AE’s overselling to customers with coverage issues or have to jump through several hoops to get their reimbursements.
“5G” internet that is not really 5G at all.
Systems that are mission critical not working or worse, applying changes that they have to roll because they were not improving workflow.
A really messed up and ongoing migration from Sprint.
Management switching chairs because they are not hitting their numbers.
Even offshoring parts of the business is not working due to poor training or they are being overworked themselves.
And the clincher: for all the diversity they claim to have, they sure love to insist to a return to office for people who clearly demonstrated that they are way more productive and efficient working from home. People with documented disabilities and medical conditions.
Either wait to be let go and take the severance or look elsewhere. Get your exit strategy in order. Good luck!

Heard from multiple people this last week AE Managers are next. Makes sense especially knowing they get paid $150k to “manage” 5-8 Account Executives each. Will be offered AE position or severance.

Near $200 Million in monies expended over the past 3 years to remodel the offices in Bellevue and Overland Park. Bellevue lease runs through 2030. Of course they want to mandate everyone back to the office, so they can get value out of these new worthless, bland office spaces.

They paid for all that reconstruction on the Seattle building prior to the pandemic and they want people in them to justify it. I don’t think they realize how much more productive people would be in there own home environment. Now, they fighting against the old way of working versus what we can see where the future is headed when it come to coming to the office. I agree with twitter or saleforce ceo not sure which one but what does the office provide that your home work space doesn’t. He or she announced fully remote and they saw a 60 percent increase in application that week. This tells you what the workforce wants stop holding on to something that eventually will change. Just like cellphones change how people using the landlines
