MT closed a lot of the stores in major college towns. Bed Bath has no stake left in the college shopping market. When families came to shop we were out of everything in store and online. Pretty pathetic

No, actually we lost the college market! Last year we did not have the merchandise they needed nor the associates to assist them. They went to Target and other retailers who had sales gains during the BTC period.
Last year we had zero txl anything and 5 colleges in our backyard. Think those customers give us another shot? It will be the end if they don't

There are plenty of hours for the store teams that care. Plenty of sales will come from a proper BTC program in your store that you won’t be able to use all the hours generated.

@if you can’t do BTC….just exactly where are the hours going to come from to get people out to high schools and colleges? We don’t have enough hours to properly clean the restrooms in the evening! When the store manager has to cover the front end all day as a favor to the ss lead so she can complete a reset that’s over 2 months over due because there is literally 3 people in the building all day I highly doubt there’s enough hours to go pushing pack n holds. It’s total bu-----t. If it wasn’t for this amazing store manager that I have that’s willing to help so much I would not still be here. This company has been ruined by a bunch of mo--ns that don’t know the first thing about ANYTHING.
Looks like all these lazy store employees have thrown in the towel. Sad!

College is just a past dream.. it used to be fun! We used to have help! We used to take care of the students and make them customers for life.. remember that??? We made going to college a experience by having experts.. now. We can barely get a college student to visit the store to purchase a set of sheets... What happened to decorating dorm rooms... We have lost what made us a destination...
I saw a couple of kangaroos get into a fist fight once. The speed of the punched made Mike Tyson look like he was on v-lium his entire career. That was pretty cool.
If you can’t do BTC business you aren’t trying very hard. It’s so easy. Get out to your local high schools promote this to the masses. It’s up to the store employees to build this business. If you are close to a college work with the local dorms to setup mini BBBYs in the dorms on move in days. Sell, sell, sell. Think outside the box, the only limits are the ones you place on it!
Gone are the days of over 500 pack and holds in my store! There is no one to walk to help fill the carts and consult what they really need for dorm life. Quality and assortment have disappeared and so have the customers. Just like Bridal, this too is another defeat for BBB. Where is the all the $ spent on this expensive suite gotten us?
Way to go team! We owe this all to the dedicated hardworking employees at the corporate office for making this happen. Now it’s just up to the store employees to drive conversion during power hours at the stores! Our end results will be reflective of our store teams!
