Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

I wasted two years of my life at this horrible place

Now that I can finally leave, I'll make sure to tell everybody willing to listen what kind of place PepsiCo is. I've spent two years having to deal with an incompetent manager with no people skills, desperately chasing unrealistic goals, and navigating toxic team dynamics. This has taken a toll on me both physically and mentally. I'll rather be unemployed than put myself in a similar position ever again.

@qfx+1gGNYlbT. Tell your manager you are going on a vacation where there will be no wifi, electricity or running water. Let them figure it out.

I can so relate. I’ve been doing the job of three people since January. Got tossed a stingy raise in March that wasn’t even half the rate of inflation. No thanks, not even a semblance of empathy or support - just platitudes and endless inane meetings. And yes - like the poster - my emotional, physical and mental health have taken a big hit. I’m eligible to take early Social Security this fall. Although it would be tough financially - not sure how much more of this misery I can stand. The people who run this swamp should all hang their heads in shame. Woke corporate America. This is not your fathers Oldsmobile.
