@oxc+1gG5ceJa Can't fill open positions? LOL I am in TA and do you know how many applicants we are getting for each open role, or should I say "were" getting as we are closing requisitions. It isn't that we don't have applicants to fill the positions it is that we are choosing to not fill them.

India may be a cheaper alternative, but it takes them forever to hire and roles are limited by poor English and licensing restrictions. Company will learn a difficult lesson at some point about diversifying their offshore risks. Going too deep in an unstable country that has refused to condemn Russia's action, not to mention climate change, is a bad idea. By then, this senior leader group will have moved on and cashed out.
Not so much layoffs anymore but force moving employees to different areas of need temporarily until those area are ready to be shipped in full to India. Most of those areas are just awful and not where they can keep employees anymore which is where you are dumped instead of getting severance. You either stay in misery and get paid or you leave on your own because you simply cannot take anymore.

The more work types you see that go to India the closer we are to another round of what these Chicago thugs calls “redundant” workers being laid off. They will work you to a mental breakdown by claims and task loads and then celebrate by saying isn’t it great ? India to the rescue and your work types and tasks are going there since they can help us. What a steaming crock
Is Allstate REALLY going to have another round of layoffs? When they can’t fill their open positions? Is Allstate that determined to continue with this “growth” plan?

Just like the other times when they start talking about it the layoffs are just around the corner, get ready.
Why would an exact date even matter. If you know it's coming... take care of yourself! Live life on your terms.
There are plenty of rumors but nothing concrete.
