P.S. Kudos to the employees that sent the chat to the press. Management was trying to sc--w the LL6/GSR community. #&$! them!! (More radical candor.)
C'mon! Then you deal with those on one offs but you don't ban them all because it doesn't fit the A+ Pulse scores once-sided Ford narrative. Give me a break.

They were caught in a LIE and could not defend themselves. BTW That person had real courage.
I don't agree that the chat should have been blocked, however I think it's worse that recent chats were copied in full and sent to local news....i don't understand what an employee gains by doing that....

Many people showed up to meetings just for the live chat. It was more interesting than the talking heads. The live chats reflected the company as a whole and the “leadership”. This uncomfortable truth was unpleasant for the toddlers in charge. A grown-up leader would set a professional One-Ford tone for the workplace. That certainly is not the tone for the Ford workplace. Can you imagine people behaving like they have been towards Mulally or towards someone like Warren Buffett? Thought not.
Now that the live chats are no longer a distraction carcar can continue peacocking without distraction from the rank and file.
A lot of the comments are unprofessional. People bring their bad behaviors from the anti-social networks.
If you ever decide that hiding unpleasant truths is better than addressing them consider looking at the path to LL2 where fame and fortune is to be found but actual improving things isn't.
So much for free speech. I can understand if foul language is used. but to ban legitimate concerns or opinion is horrible. If all you want is KOOL AID drinkers and yes people, you will never fix any problems.
