It is unbelievable that a person cannot bring up a complaint here without someone immediately starting to defend the company. Are there really so many of you who still enjoy working at X? I don't believe it.

I’m enjoying it. I can work from home and come in the office regularly. Just got a raise and feel less stressed than I did last year.
Nobody is defending the company, they are pointing out how ridiculous the complainers are. The layoffs are a result of the declining market and prior leadership’s mismanagement. Current team is doing exactly what they are being paid to do.
And then some people know
- this is a company. Not my friend of family member. They are not going to do what’s best for me
- their main goal is retuning profit to their shareholder not to protect your interests
- this is how corporate America works
- nothing they do is illegal. It may boarder on unethical but there is no legal repercussions to that. if you think there is illegal activity then report it. That’s the best way to a pink slip.
- xerox doesn’t care about you
- leave if you don’t like it

Every company has challenges. What irks me are the posters that act like Xerox is an ex girlfriend who cheated on them and broke their little hearts. This is not a relationship….This is a job. And yes I’m still happy and making my dough, all while helping out customers. If you don’t like that, I don’t care. Simply lick my a$$.
They may be in a bonus program.

A lot of people are in denial and/or drinking the Kool Aid. Especially higher up the ladder. But they have a totally different tone if/when they leave so they could be faking it.
